Clarification of Flea Market Guidelines

1. To qualify for Pre-Pay Rates the vendor must pre-pay for sites ON Saturday OF THE PRIOR MONTH.

2. Earliest time to move into Pre-pay or Walk-in spots starts at NOON on Friday of the Flea Market weekend.

3. For those NOT pre-paying: NO call-ins will be accepted any longer; available spaces will be on a first move-in basis.

As the Agricultural Society Board has taken time to review 2007, we continue to appreciate the relationship and business we have shared with each Flea Market Vendor. As we look forward to 2008, we are planning to make significant improvements in our processes that operate our grounds as well as physical improvements to the facilities that we all use and enjoy.

We have recently reviewed the processes that we use to operate the monthly Flea Market rentals and have found a means to retain our current rates for our loyal vendors; while at the same time allowing us to reduce our expenses. Starting in January 2008, we will be asking for non-refundable pre-pays at the current rates. This will allow us to only heat the barns that are filled or have vendors present. We will be starting with the West Wing, then the Middle Wing, and finally the East Wing along with those wanting premium spots in Bruner. In the past, vendors that were on the list to come became no shows and had caused us to heat buildings with only a few vendors. The new process will not only allow efficient heating of adequately filled spaces, but also provide a more complete shopping experience for all customers.

With that said, we will be able to continue the rental rates for 2008 as follows:
